William W. Byler
AUGUST 17, 1958 – OCTOBER 4, 2018 (AGE 60)
William W. Byler of Middlefield, Ohio, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 3:30 pm. William was born August 17, 1958, to William Sr. and Kathryn Byler. The day he left us was also his 38th wedding anniversary; he married his beloved bride on October 4, 1980. His father, his sister Irene, and a stillborn son preceded him in death.
Willy will be terribly missed by his wife Sue and their seven children: Andrea (Joe Cospito), Heidi, Kristi, Anthony (Jeanie Bontrager), Lindsey (Andrew Miller), Erika, Angie, foster son Jacob and granddaughter Rilynne Jo. Willy will also be missed by his mother Kathryn and siblings Freeman (Mary), Mary Ellen, Timothy (Joanna), and Jacob.
Willy was a longstanding member of Zion Christian Fellowship. He was often called upon to be an usher, song leader, and Sunday school teacher. He served on the board of the MCC Meat Canners and the ZCS school board for many years. One of his favorite things to do was participate in the Minerva Community Choir for nine years as a choir member and chaplain. He also enjoyed traveling, biking, sports, music, and campfires. Most of all, he loved connecting with his family and friends and engaging in deep conversations.
